Jason E. Senseman, "admitted to sending several threatening and/or vulgar messages to [...] a social media account of the TV show 'On Patrol: Live'," the Volusia County Sheriffs in a release on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The TV show contacted the VCS on Sunday, and detectives quickly reached the Pennsylvania State Police, "who were aware of the messages and also already familiar with Senseman."
He has a lengthy record in Pennsylvania criminal courts starting with an aggravated assault in 1991, followed by a burglary that same year, drug and traffic offenses in 1994, serving prison time for an indecent assault in 2006, making threats and harassing someone in 2007— again serving prison time, the same charges again let to prison time in 2011, simple assault and corruption of minor sent him to prison for over a year in 2012, drug and traffic charges in 2014, harassment got him probation in 2014, same with public drunkenness in 2020, as detailed in numerous court documents.
PSP Troopers went to the 51-year-old with a warrant from the sheriff's that "charged him with making written threats to kill," the sheriff's office explained.
When PSP troopers arrived at his Jonestown home he told them he watched the show while drinking and messaging its profiling, he then showed them his Facebook. His messenger account showed that he sent the following statements to the TV show's profile:
- “I am not scared of killing anyone."
- “Some of your officers are worthy of death.”
- “I would kill Royce James,” a Volusia deputy sheriff featured on the show.
Sensemen was taken into custody by PSP late Tuesday evening. His charge is a second-degree felony that carries a bond of $100,000.
"He will be extradited to Volusia County at a later date, and Sheriff Chitwood plans to meet him alongside Deputy James before transport to the Volusia County Branch Jail," VCS said.
